About Creme Gifts

Updated on

Creme Gifts is an independent buying-guide site about stand mixers, the countertop machines that knead dough, whip cream and beat batter while your hands stay free.

We write for home bakers buying a first mixer or replacing one that can't keep up. Our goal is simple: help you find a mixer with the right bowl size, motor and design for what you actually bake.

What we cover

Our guides cover stand mixers from brands like KitchenAid, Bosch, Cuisinart, Hamilton Beach, VIVOHOME and Ooni. We sort them by budget, bowl size, design and the kind of dough they handle.

We also explain the parts that trip up most shoppers. That means quarts versus real batch size, tilt-head versus bowl-lift, what the watts mean, dough hooks and which attachments fit which mixers.

How we work

We read the specs, the manuals and each maker's own information for every mixer we cover. We also look at what owners often report after months of baking with one.

Then we turn it into plain guides, side-by-side comparisons and clear picks. Our How we research page explains the steps.

What we are not

We don't make or sell mixers, and no brand pays us to rank its products. Creme Gifts isn't affiliated with KitchenAid, Bosch, Cuisinart, Hamilton Beach or any other maker.

We don't claim to have baked with every mixer we cover. When we pick something, we say why, based on its specs, its features and owner feedback.

We don't give repair, motor or gear-grease steps. A mixer has a motor and fast-moving beaters, so follow the maker's manual and unplug it before you change attachments.

How the site is paid for

Some links here go to stores like Amazon. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

That never decides which mixers we pick. Our affiliate disclosure has the details.
